Quality Assurance
 Whitehill Nursery School was awarded the prestigious Pre School Learning Alliance Accreditation Quality Assurance Award in January 2003.
Quality Assurance Schemes are frameworks that enable childcare providers to work towards and demonstrate measurable, high standards of quality that go above and beyond the minimum standards regulated by OFSTED.
It consists of 14 modules which cover all aspects of childcare and education. It is a framework that enables childcare providers to work towards and demonstrate measurable, high standards of quality over and above the OFSTED minimum National Day-Care Standards by creating a portfolio of evidence. This process usually takes 12-18 months.
The successful providers receive their 'Quality Assurance Accreditation'.
