Sessions & Fees

Sessions

The Nursery year consists of six terms: 1 & 2 (Autumn), 3 & 4 (Spring) and 5 & 6 (Summer) and is the same as the Whitehill Infant School terms.

Whitehill Nursery School is open five days a week during each term and provides the following sessions:

Fees

Children aged 2 to school-age.

Pre-School – Children 3+ to 5 years (the term after the child is 3 years old)

Whitehill Nursery School is registered with OFSTED to deliver the Foundation Stage curriculum and therefore can claim the Early Years Education Entitlement from East Sussex County Council ("EYEE").

This entitlement will pay towards a maximum of 5 x 2.5 hour sessions a week over 38 weeks a year.

14 weeks – Autumn (terms 1 & 2) funding period, 11 weeks – Spring (terms 3 & 4) funding period and 13 weeks – Summer (terms 5 & 6) funding period.

You can claim your entitlement as a morning or afternoon session or a full day. However, our sessions at Whitehill Nursery School represent 2.75 hours. Please see example fee structure below:

Non Funded Sessions:

Morning (9.00 – 11.45) or Afternoon (12.15 – 15.00) Equivalent to £6.40 per hour - All non-funded children may be offered a final discount fee of £7.97; therefore a non-funded session will cost £9.63 (equivalent to £3.50 per hour)

Funded Sessions:

Morning (9.00 – 11.45) or Afternoon (12.15 – 15.00) - 2.5 hours free and the remaining 0.25 hour will be charged at the hourly rate of £6.40 per hour.
